The message descriptions of the EDIwheel standard are provided „as is“, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to the warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and noninfringement. In no event shall the authors or copyright holders be liable for any claim, damages or other liability, whether in an action of contract, tort or otherwise, arising from, out of or in connection with the message descriptions of the EDIwheel standard or the use or other dealings of it.
The documentation and Internet-access code can be obtained at the below mentioned address. EDIWheel does not intend to create profits and asks for a once-off fee to new joining companies as a small contribution to the future evolution of the standard. No recurring fees apply. The charge is applicable for Tire Manufacturers and Software Companies.
Please note: The usage of EDIWheel ist free of charge for customers using their own homemade software or an ERP package by a software editor.
The documentation will be updated if necessary and sent by mail to the participating companies of a distribution list by Wirtschaftsverband der deutschen Kautschukindustrie e.V. (wdk)

EDIWheel is a commonly agreed IT standard and concerns the electronic business integration norms between tire manufacturers and customers. It is currently supported by all major tire manufacturers.
